On 31st March 2025, a thrilling clash took place between CSK and RR on the pitch of
Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. In this match, every player performed their best
whereas Nitish Rana’s explosive 81 helped RR set a good target, and if we talk about
bowling then it was Wanindu Hasaranga who delivered brilliantly and made RR the winner
of the match.
How Hasaranga Changed the Game
Hasaranga is a well-known spinner of Sri Lanka. he took 4 wickets and stopped CSK from
winning. Talking about his bowling figures then it was 4 wickets for 35 runs. And
surprisingly, his performance took place when CSK was playing strongly. His super
bowling techniques were just amazing, and that just flipped the game and turned the
match in RR’s favour.
The match for CSK started with Ruturaj Gaikwad’s inning with a score of 63 runs, the game was going smoothly and was in favour of CSK until Hasaranga made the entry, he came
and he conquered the field with his superb bowling, he simply slowed down the run rate
and then started building pressure on the batters making hard for them to score high,
everyone had great hope with Gaikwad’s batting and he was also playing great but
Hasaranga’s one bowl just took every hope and Gaikwad got out and this one wicket
shifted the whole match into RR’s favour, and another hope for CSK was with the super
batters of the team who are known for their powerful batting technique Moeen Ali and
Shivam Dube, but Hasaranga used his clever bowling techniques and even took these
both wicket as well and finally CSK fell short by six runs turning RR into the victory team
of the evening.

Talking about taking wickets then it is good to take wicket but it becomes super better
when the wickets are taken at right time and in similar way Hasaranga also did he took all
wickets when the team was in need of it the most, he mixed leg-spin and googlies to
confuse the batters which led to batters keep confused and made them guessing all the
time about what would be his next delivery trick.

RR won the match and credit goes to the amazing batter who set a good total run target
for the opponent but it was also Hasaranga’s brilliant bowling that made the diƯerence,
his 4 wickets just changed the whole game, he was under pressure still he gave his best
and this makes him one of the most valuable players in IPL 2025. Now RR will gain more
